Jamuria: Under the initiative of 'Seba Sankalp Abhiyan', a special program was organized with great enthusiasm and excitement in the Modern Satgram Colliery area under Ward 32 of BJP Mandal-3 in the Jamuria assembly constituency. In this people-oriented program, sanitation workers associated with daily cleanliness of the area were specially honored and felicitated with traditional stoles (uttariya) and gifts. This initiative of honoring the unschooled heroes of society won special praise among the local general public.
Along with this, a massive cleanliness drive was conducted in the area today. As part of this program, the main water tank of the area and its surrounding garbage were cleaned. At the level, passersby and local residents were also made aware of keeping their respective areas clean and tidy. Intellectuals consider such initiatives to be very significant for spreading environmental awareness.
Present at today's public welfare event were Assembly Convener Brijmohan Paswan, prominent leaders Rajeev Yadav, Nandkishor Singh, Bipin Sharma, Palo Roy, Santosh Singh, Guddu Jha, Mahindra Turi, Vinod Kumar, along with local BJP leadership, dedicated party workers, esteemed persons of the area, and general residents.
Speaking about the main objective of the event, Assembly Convener Brijmohan Paswan stated that a month-long 'Seba Sankalp Abhiyan' program is being celebrated across the country on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. As a part of that, sanitation workers were honored and the cleanliness drive was successfully completed in this specific area of Jamuria assembly.
He further said that sanitation workers perform the extremely important task of keeping our society and locality disease-free and clean every day through their hard work, dedication, and courage. But often their contribution goes unnoticed by society. Therefore, the main goal of this program was to honor their labor and give proper recognition to their selfless contribution to society. He firmly expressed that such socially oriented programs will continue to be organized consistently in the coming days for public service, environmental protection, and regional development.
All in all, through this 'Seba Sankalp Abhiyan' organized at Modern Satgram Colliery, on one hand, a message was sent to ensure the social status and rights of sanitation workers, and on the other hand, a unique example of cleanliness, health awareness, and social responsibility was established in the area.
