As part of an effort to reach the doorsteps of the general public in the area under Barabani Assembly of Paschim Bardhaman district, a special 'Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan' was organized under the initiative of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha. As part of this program, an initiative was taken to visit the local ICDS Center No. 166 and hand over educational materials and chocolates to young children and students.
During this philanthropic event, around 30 slates and chocolates were distributed among the local children. The Yuva Morcha took this small yet meaningful initiative primarily to boost interest in studies among these tender pre-primary level children and to bring smiles to their faces. A beautiful reflection of the message conveyed by 'Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan'—to stand by people from various walks of life—was witnessed at this ICDS center in Barabani.
Sumit Roy, Convener of Barabani Mandal One Yuva Morcha, was present at the event and made the entire program successful. Bikash Bouri, President of Yuva Morcha Mandal One, was also present. Anima Gop, a teacher in charge of teaching and overall management at the ICDS center, actively attended the program and lauded this effort by the Yuva Morcha. Local residents also highly praised such social welfare initiatives.
