According to police and local sources, the injured girl's name is মমতা Patel (২৮). He is a resident of Seemanpalli area of ​​Roopnarayanpur. On Saturday morning, while going from Asansol towards Roopnarayanpur with a scooter, he met with an accident near Dendua Morh. Allegedly, a dumper carrying coal from ICL on its way to dump coal at the Bandemari Colliery siding suddenly took a right turn. At that time, the rider Mamta Patel got crushed under the right wheel of the dumper. In the accident he suffered serious injury to his left leg. After receiving the news, Salanpur police station and Kulti traffic guard personnel immediately reached the spot. The injured girl was rescued and admitted to a private hospital in Asansol. Currently he is under treatment. The allegation is that the driver of the dumper ran away from the spot after the accident. But the police arrested the killer dumper and started investigation to find the driver. Due to the incident, the movement of ICL's coal dumper stopped for some time. Meanwhile, there was anger among the local residents after the accident. Their complaint was that in the past, in the interest of safety of the general public, 'no-entry' was imposed on the movement of heavy coal carrying vehicles during the early morning hours. After that rule was relaxed, the number of dumpers on the roads increased during peak hours and the risk of accidents also increased. BJP Mandal-4 President Chinmayh Tewari said, "This is a very unfortunate incident. Adequate compensation must be ensured to the injured girl. Moreover, today's accident proves that the earlier no-entry period was effective for the safety of the common people." After the incident, local residents appealed to the administration to impose stricter controls on the movement of heavy vehicles carrying coal on the busy road. Police started investigating the entire incident.
