আনন্দপুরে মোমো কারখানার অগ্নিকাণ্ডে মৃত শ্রমিকদের ক্ষতিপূরণের দাবিতে বাম যুব সংগঠনের বিক্ষোভ

Fearless Bengali, Raniganj: Left youth organization DYFI protested in front of Vao Mudhu shop in Raniganj on Thursday morning, demanding compensation in case of death of workers in a massive fire at a cotton manufacturing factory in Anandpur, Kolkata. DYFI editor Durlabh Haldar was present at the protest. He complained that at the time of recent fire at the silk manufacturing factory in Anandpur, the gate was locked from outside. As a result, at least 14 workers lost their lives by burning alive and about 30 workers are still missing. The search is still going on to find the unemployed workers. DYFI claims that the Trinamool Congress led state government has given permission to the factory built by illegally filling the wetland. There was no fire extinguishing system in the factory, which resulted in the loss of lives of so many innocent workers. On behalf of the organization, a demand has been made to immediately provide appropriate compensation to the families of the deceased workers and to publish correct information about the unemployed workers. DYFI warns that protests will continue in front of various tobacco shops in the state until their demands are met.
