Fearless Bengali, Shyam Das, Asansol Keeping in view the upcoming assembly elections, Asansol Durgapur Police Commissioner Pranab Kumar has started inspection of various police stations to maintain law and order and ensure security arrangements in the area. On Sunday he visited Kulti police station and held a meeting with the police officers present there. In the meeting, there is a detailed discussion on the law and order situation of Kulti area and the Police Commissioner gives necessary instructions. Especially surveillance has been increased at Duburidi check post of National Highway No. 19 located in Kulti. Strict police checking is being carried out to prevent any weapons, cash or illegal goods from other states from entering the area. On this day, DC (West) and ACP Kulti were present along with the Police Commissioner. The security arrangements around the elections will be further strengthened, it has been informed by the administration.
