Fearless Bengali, Durgapur: Durgapur: At the end of the voting season, Kabi Dutta took big initiatives to prevent pollution and protect the environment. Trinamool candidate of Durgapur West Center should direct his party workers to immediately remove all wall writings and remove flex, posters and banners. Following the instructions of the candidate, All India Trinamool Congress workers have already started working. The work of removing party flags, banners and posts has started in ward number 12 of Durgapur, Amrai village and ward number 14 in new areas. Employees say, it is not possible to complete all the work in one day. But within the next two to three days, the work of erasing wall writings and removing flex-posters will be completed from everywhere in Durgapur West Centre. Usually, after the voting is over, month after month, wall writings, flexes and posts are seen in support of different candidates, which not only causes environmental pollution but also spoils the beauty of the city. From that point of view, the locals consider this initiative as an exception. Poet Dutt says about this, "If the flag is gone, then why would there be any writing or poster on the wall? This causes visual pollution and increases the discomfort of the people. Therefore, instructions have been given to remove everything immediately."
