Before this, an all-party meeting was held at the office of the East Medinipur District Magistrate, which reached Nandigram. He specially visited the areas bearing memories of violence after the 2021 Assembly elections. Manoj Agarwal spoke to the residents of the area and heard about the various problems they faced before, on the day of voting and after the voting. Locals raised allegations of terrorism and said that they cannot vote without fear at times. This audience is assured that in case of any problem, it should be immediately informed to the Election Commission. He said, strict security arrangements have been taken in this election, so that every voter can exercise his voting rights without any fear. During the visit, he visited several polling stations.
