An all-party meeting was held at the District Magistrate's Office on Friday afternoon before the publication of the final voter list. Representatives of various political parties were present in the meeting. Trinamool Congress representative Akash Mukherjee said, before the publication of voter list on 28th, the district administration has informed that three types of lists will be published. Firstly, the voters whose names were verified did not find any error. Secondly, delete list. Thirdly, the names of about one lakh thirty-eight thousand voters are currently pending. Their names will be published gradually, the administration said. He further said, there is no reason to panic about this. It has been said that those whose names are in the deleted list will get the opportunity to include their names again if they produce appropriate documents. Left Front representative Manoj Dutt claimed that all the lists will have to be hung at the booths and every list published will have to be sent to the concerned political party's office. On the other hand, BJP representative Prashant Chakraborty said that the final voter list has not yet been fully published. The process of publishing the list will continue till the last day of submission of election nominations. The district administration has informed that all steps are being taken to keep the election process clean.
