BJP launched Sankalp Patra campaign and took votes to make Bengal a developing state by installing drop boxes.

Asansol: BJP's 'Sankalp Patra' project was inaugurated by party's state leader Krishnendu Mukherjee in front of Ravindra Bhawan in Asansol on Sunday evening. According to party sources, a drop box has been kept to gather the opinions of the common people regarding possible programs and schemes before the 2026 assembly elections. In this, citizens can submit their suggestions and expectations by writing. Krishnendu Mukherjee said that if BJP forms the government in West Bengal in the future, then what steps should be taken to make West Bengal a developing and beautiful state – this will be decided on the basis of public opinion. He also criticized various policies and administrative functioning of the present state government. He claims that there is dissatisfaction among the people regarding women's safety, education and the quality of health services. On the other hand, regarding the forms being given by the Trinamool government in the state from Sunday under a total of four schemes including Yuvashree Yojana, whether the state will run on allowances, whether the unemployed will not be provided employment and development, BJP says that the future outline will be prepared only on the basis of suggestions from the general public. During this time, BJP leader Dr. Tusarkanti Banerjee and many other BJP leaders and workers were mainly present on the occasion.
