Nirbheek Bengali, Asansol: Bharatiya Janata Party increased its campaign in Triveni square of Barnpur on Wednesday. BJP candidate from Asansol South Assembly Centre, Agnimitra Paul, personally attended the postering along with party workers and supporters. The presence of a large number of BJP workers-supporters can be seen in this day's programme. Confronting the journalists, Agnimitra Pal claimed that not only West Bengal but the people of Asansol and South are also seeking change. Taking a dig at his rival Tapas Bandyopa Dhyay, he said that during his tenure as Vidhan Sabha from 2011 to 2016, he did not do any developmental work for the common people. BJP candidates raised allegations of failure, especially in the field of employment of youth. Agnimitra Paul also said that people's anger is not directed at any individual, but against Trinamool Congress and the top leadership of the party. His claim is that the personal role of the opposition candidates in this district is not big, people are mainly interested in keeping the present government from power. As a result, BJP candidates should express confidence that there will be changes in the upcoming elections.
