কুলটিতে SIR-এর বিরুদ্ধে তৃণমূলের বাইক র‍্যালি, নেতৃত্বে উজ্জ্বল চ্যাটার্জি

Asansol: Trinamool Congress organized a bike rally in Kulatti area on Sunday to protest against SIR. Trinamool Congress district president Ujjwal Chatterjee led the rally that started from Dhemoman. The rally, starting from Dhemohamman, ends at the party office of Ramnagar via Kulati Police Station, Beguniya Bazaar and Barakar Station Road. Thousands of Trinamool Congress workers-supporters participated in the rally. While speaking at the rally today, District Chairman Ujjwal Chatterjee alleged that through SIR, the election authority has removed the names of thousands of people from the voting list, which amounts to taking away the democratic rights of the common people. His claim is that the Election Commission is taking such steps under pressure from the Central Government, which has been strongly opposed by the Chief Minister of the State and the Parliamentary Board of the Trinamool Congress. He further said that despite being a legally recognized institution, the Election Commission is taking some steps which are contrary to social justice and democratic norms. Many elections have taken place before this, but such an incident has never happened before. He alleges that efforts are being made to deprive lakhs of voters of their voting rights. Ujjwal Chatterjee has also demonstrated the strength of the Kultee party through the rally, saying it is like a political palace. Present in this program were Kulti Block Trinamool Congress President Kanchan Rai, Robin Laek, Amit Yadav, Armaan Khan, Mir Hasim, Baro Chairman Shatabdi Bhandari, Bholu Khan, Baban Mukherjee, Joga Mandal and a large number of party workers and supporters.
