Political turmoil seen at secondary examination centers in Bengal, BJP distributed pens and roses, Trinamool gave water bottles and pens.

Asansol, West Bengal Madhyamik (Secondary) examination has started in the state from today. On the very first day of the examination, political activities were seen outside various examination centers in Asansol. Before the 2026 assembly elections, this development is also being linked to political politics. On the one hand, in Asansol, BJP MLA Agnimitra Pal was seen wishing the students by giving them pen and rose flowers outside the examination centre. On the other hand, Trinamool Congress leader Avik Goswami was seen encouraging the students by gifting them water bottles and pens. Both the leaders described these activities as non-political. He says that he had reached the examination center with the aim of mentally encouraging the students before the examination and boosting their morale. According to the leaders, the various schemes being run by the state government in the field of education are aimed at making the future of the students bright, and this small effort was made under the same thinking. However, discussions have intensified regarding such political presence outside the examination centers and it is also being linked to the upcoming assembly elections.
