And for that, sports and physical exercise are extremely important. The epoch-making Swami Vivekananda also called upon the youth to be physically and mentally strong and to engage in sports. On the other hand, Asansol North MLA Krishnendu Mukherjee said, "There is no alternative to sports and physical labor to keep the body healthy and active in daily life. Prime_Minister Narendra Modi is also constantly encouraging spreading this message among the general public. Today's cycle rally has once again strongly highlighted that message."
Notably, students of Ramakrishna Mission, teachers, local athletes, and general citizens enthusiastically participated in this cycle rally starting from Rabindra Bhavan. As the line of cycles moved along the main streets of the city, passersby also applauded the initiative. Overall, today's cycle rally, organized with the message of physical fitness and building a strong and disciplined society, left a deep impression on the minds of the people of Asansol.
