Hirapur: There is concern among teachers regarding the recent decision of the Supreme Court. In protest against that decision, teachers of Hirapur circle organized a protest meeting on Wednesday afternoon. Teachers' demand: A judge of the Supreme Court of India has ruled that TET exam is mandatory for all school teachers in the country. However, this obligation will not apply to those who have been teaching for less than five years. Milon Mandal, head teacher of Hirapur area, said, "If this decision is implemented, many teachers of the country will face problems. If teachers working for a long time are brought under the new test exam, there will be uncertainty about their jobs." Representatives of various teachers organizations were present in the protest meeting. If their complaint and judgment are implemented, the dignity and job stability of experienced teachers will be in question. They demanded reconsideration of the decision and, if necessary, also gave signals for a larger movement. According to a section of teachers, although upgradation of education is necessary, alternative arrangements should be adopted in the case of teachers working for a long time. Meanwhile, there is still no official reaction at the administrative level regarding this matter.
