Shantanu Pan, West Medhipur:- The work of submitting nomination papers for the upcoming assembly elections has started. While the candidate list of other parties has not been announced yet, on behalf of SUCCI Communist Party, three candidates from three assembly centers submitted nominations to the District Magistrate on Thursday.
According to party sources, nomination papers of three candidates from Meendhipur, Salbane and Garhveta assembly centers were submitted on this day. Professor Debasheesh Aich, Tapas Kumar Mishra of Garhbeta center and teacher Disha Chandra Dutt, candidate of Shalbani assembly centre, submitted their nomination papers as candidates for Medhipur assembly centre.
On this day, under the leadership of District Editor Narayan Adhikari, three candidates, party leaders, workers and supporters came to the office of the District Magistrate. Only then is the nomination form submitted. Regarding nomination, SUCCI Communist Party District Secretary Narayan Adhikari said today, SUCCI Communist Party has participated in this year's assembly elections as a revolutionary party.
He said that with the aim of building a public movement, the strength and voice of the public movement can be taken inside the Assembly, hence candidates will be given in 14 of the 15 Assembly constituencies of West Medhipur. Already, nomination papers of two candidates for Hairdresser and Dental Assembly have been submitted, it is reported from the party's side.
