Fearless Bengali: Keeping the upcoming assembly elections in mind, the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) Booth Leaders Convention was organized at Dakbunloo of Rani Nagar Assembly. To further strengthen the organization at the Trinamool level, emphasis is laid on the active role of booth leadership in this meeting. Party state president Haqikul Islam, general editor Hasibul Islam, editor Sabnam Mushtari, organizational general editor Suman Mandal, South Murshidaabad district president Abdul Karim Mandal and district editor Ali Akbar Siddiqui were present in the meeting. State President Haqikul Islam discussed in detail about the current political situation in the state. General Secretary Hasibul Islam encouraged the booth leadership to ensure organized and active participation in the upcoming assembly elections. Editor Sabnam Mushtari raised important statements regarding OBC related problems and Waakf Act. Since the convention, all the booth leadership under Rani Nagar Assembly have been called upon to unite the workers and strengthen the organization. Besides, a decision has been taken to make vigorous preparations for the upcoming elections, party sources said.
