There is excitement in Dabargram of Salanpur police station over the allegation of sexually assaulting an eight-year-old girl. A 72-year-old man from the village, from the tribal community, sexually assaulted a nine-year-old girl by luring her. The people of the tribal community were enraged at this allegation. A huge protest was held around the house of the accused person, the girl's family and the people of the tribal community of the village. When the situation became tense, a huge police force reached the spot. Later, the police somehow rescued the accused from the hands of agitated tribal people. A written complaint about the entire incident has been lodged at the Roopnarayanpur police station of the Salanpur police station. The police has arrested the accused named Subokh Mahata (৭ূ) of Dabar village. The elder son of Subokh Mahata is known to be a Congress leader. Trinamool tribal community leader Joyce Hasda said that an eight-year-old girl has been molested. The police has arrested the accused. Our only demand is that the accused should be given strict punishment. In this regard, the villagers told that a village man was shown various allurements. The girl was taken to the temple and the door was locked and she was molested for a few days. The girl told this to one of her friends. Then the girl's friend told her tuition teacher. The tuition teacher told the family members, the family members and the villagers all together went to her house and attacked the accused. The police went and brought the situation under control. The police arrested the accused. The villagers along with the family demanded strict punishment for the culprit.
