অসম্পূর্ণ নির্মাণে ক্ষোভ, বড়তোল প্রাইমারি স্কুলে কাজ বন্ধে গ্রামবাসীদের বাধা

শ্যাম দাস, নির্ভীক বাংলা, আসানসোল:There was intense tension in the area over the allegations of poor quality construction work of Badatol Primary School in Hirapur circle of Asansol. The villagers got angry against the contractor who started the painting work of the building without completing the permanent electricity and drinking water supply of the school. The situation reaches such a level that the contractor is forced to stop the work. Local residents complain that the external beautification work has been started without completing the basic infrastructure of the school—especially the electricity connection and drinking water system. Their claim is that mainly students from the tribal community study in this school and say, “Is the construction being neglected? The contractor company wants to walk away without completing the entire work and they raised the complaint. At present, since the work of the school building is incomplete, students are being taught temporarily in a community hall of the area. School head teacher Sabyasachi Mukherjee said, "I have repeatedly told the contractor to complete the work. But no importance was given to it. We want the work to be completed soon. I agree with the villagers' demand." On the other hand, School Inspector Shri Mittro said, "I have learned about the matter from the head teacher. All the information will be collected and informed to the higher authorities." The incident has created a stir in the area. The villagers have only one demand – complete and standard construction should be completed without any hesitation.
