Asansol Pride Run 2026 was held.

Fearless Bengali: On Sunday 25th January, Asansole Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a 6 km mini marathon named Asansole Pride Run in memory of eminent social worker Bulu Chatterjee. The mini marathon started at the Polo Ground and ended in front of Chatterjee Market in Murgasol. Hundreds of students from different schools participated. The prize distribution ceremony is held at the last point of the marathon in front of Chatterjee Market. Asansol Municipal Chairman Amarnath Chatterjee, Mayor Council member Gurudas Chatterjee, Asansol Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Shachin Rai and other eminent guests were present at the event. Amarnath Chatterjee, Chairman of Asansol Municipal Corporation, said that Asansol Chamber of Commerce and Industry does various social welfare works. In the present era, most of the school students are seen to be interested in mobile phones. It is a matter of gratitude to get them together and take part in mini marathon. Along with studies, exercising and running will keep the body good. Shachin Rai said that if you have good health then you will concentrate on studies and participate in marathon here. School students will have to keep their body healthy if they want to reach higher positions in the future.
