Politics of bombs and fear in Bengal”—Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary's sharp attack on TMC

Politics has intensified due to the incidents of violence and bomb recovery that occurred before the second phase of voting in Asansol, West Bengal. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury launched a strong attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC), saying that all this has become the "identity" of Bengal and the ruling party of the state. Adhir Ranjan Choudhary alleged that as long as TMC rules Bengal, there will be an atmosphere of bombs, pistols, firing, theft and corruption. He said that an environment of fear and insecurity is being created in the state so that people are afraid of voting and the election results can be influenced. He further said that TMC is nervous about its possible defeat, hence is deliberately creating an atmosphere of fear. Chaudhary alleged that the party's aim was to stop people from voting and win the elections by any means. Commenting on the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to Bengal, Adhir Ranjan said that it seems as if they themselves are conducting elections. Violence and allegations and counter-allegations have further increased the political temperature amid the election atmosphere in Bengal. The Election Commission and security agencies are keeping an eye on the situation.
