Fearless Bengali, গলিসি/কাঁকাসা, 3 June: The allegation of burning of several documents behind the house of Trinamool leader Uttam Ruidas in Dumra village under Trilokchandrapur Panchayet of গলিসি assembly of Vandaman-Durgāpur Lok Sabha center has spread widespread news. According to local sources, seeing the documents being read behind the house on Wednesday, BJP workers rushed to the spot and surrounded the house. Allegedly, various important documents including job cards, bank passes, land deeds etc. of many village people were being burnt there. After getting news of the incident, BJP workers contacted Kancsa police station. Later the police reached the spot, brought the situation under control and started investigation. BJP workers claim, during the rule of Uttam Rui Das Trinamool, there were irregularities in various government projects by influencing the area. Their complaint was that, starting from taking deductions from the beneficiaries of the housing scheme, money was also collected from the workers and construction factory owners. However, no official evidence has yet surfaced in support of this allegation. Accused Uttam Ruidas was not found at home at the time of the incident. As a result it was not possible to know his reaction. Till now no official response has been received from Trinamool Congress regarding this incident. According to police sources, the recovered documents and all aspects of the incident are being looked into. Further steps will be taken based on the investigation. Meanwhile, political tension has spread over the incident in Dumra village and adjoining areas. A section of the local people demanded that the real information should be brought out quickly through investigation.
