জাহাঙ্গিরি মহল্লা পুলিশ ফাঁড়ি ভাঙচুর মামলায় ৩১ জন গ্রেফতার, অভিযুক্তদের থেকে আদায় হবে ক্ষতিপূরণ

On Monday, the Asansol-Durgapur Police Commissionerate informed by miking in the area that as per the instructions of the state government, compensation will be collected from those involved in the vandalism of the police station. On this day, high ranking police officers were also present in the area. In this regard, Dr. Pranab Kumar said, the investigation into the incident of vandalism and unrest in Jahangiri Mohalla police station on 15 May is continuing. So far 31 people have been arrested and some more suspects are being identified and action is being taken against them. He further said that as per the instructions of the Home Affairs Department of the State Government, the process of recovering compensation from those who caused damage to government property has been started. Strict action will be taken against taking the law into one's own hands, a clear message has been given by the police administration.
