Fearless Bengali: Investigative agencies have arrested major criminals across the country. With the help of Pakistan's spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), the police arrested a total of eight people on charges of planning terrorist attacks. Among the arrested, six people have been arrested from Tamil Nadu and two from West Bengal. According to police sources, the accused were working in various garment factories in Rupur district. From there, six persons named Mehmed Shabat, Mehmed Shabat, Omar, Mehmed Leighton, Mehmed Shahid and Mehmed Yujjal were arrested. Besides, two more people have been arrested from West Bengal. Preliminary investigation has revealed that some of the arrested were Bangladeshi citizens and they were using fake Aadhaar cards to hide their identities. Delhi Police's Special Cell started investigation after seeing such posts related to terror online. With the help of local police, a raid was conducted in Tirupur and the suspects were arrested. During the operation, 80 mobile phones and 16 SIM cards were recovered. The recovered material is being seized and investigators are trying to find out who else is associated with this ring. Police said that the accused will be taken to Delhi for interrogation and legal process will be started. Security arrangements have been strengthened across the country.
