Fearless Bengali, Basirhat: Police presented a jail prisoner from Basirhat sub-inspector in handcuffs to the SIR hearing center in Hingalganj. According to local sources, the police arrested Nasir Uddin Biswas, a resident of Bailaani Bispur village of Hasnabad police station, on charges of involvement in various criminal activities. Later, on the orders of the court, he remained in jail custody. Since Friday was the day of hearing related to his SIR, he was brought from Basirhat Sub-Inspector to the hearing center located at Hingalganj Agricultural Market under tight police security. Security arrangements were tight during the hearing. After the hearing, the prisoner is again taken to Basirhat sub-penitentiary.
