This time two Trinamool leaders have been arrested from Andal area on charges of illegal blackmailing and tolling. According to the allegation, an active coal syndicate was running blackmailing business for a long time in the name of collecting and collecting DOL (delivery orders) from various ICLs in Andal, Pandaveshwar and Faridpur police station areas. Based on this allegation, the police first detained and later arrested West Bengal District Council advisor Kanchan Mittro and Trinamool leader Mohammad Muzaffar Hussain. When the two arrested leaders were produced in the Durgapur court on Saturday morning, the court ordered them to be kept in jail for 14 days. Initially it is known that the police took this step based on the complaint of Raniganj Coal Traders Association. An FIR was filed by the association naming about a dozen persons at Andal police station. According to the case number 135/26, the complaint was to forcibly extort money from the DOL holders and coal traders. Allegations have been raised that those who refused to pay the money would be treated as such and the lifting work would be stopped. Andal police station has started investigation of the incident.
