In this campaign, which started from early morning, the Indian officials spent a long time inside the house collecting various documents and materials.But till now no official statement has been given by India regarding whether any important documents, cash or any other material has been recovered after the operation. This investigative operation is being carried out based on information from sources, investigation related to illegal coal and sand trafficking. Notably, Manoranjana Mandal has still not formally taken charge of Budbud police station. Before taking charge, a heated discussion started in the administrative and political circles around this high-voltage operation in his house. To avoid any untoward situation during the operation, central forces are deployed outside the house.It is known that Manoranjana Mandal was temporarily suspended a few months ago. Later he was given the responsibility of Special Branch of Asansol-Durgarhpur Police Commissionerate and from there he was recently appointed as OC of Budbud police station. This day was not just a bubble, from Tuesday morning a simultaneous campaign was launched at many places in West Vandaman district. It was reported that a total of eight vehicles took part in the drive at the house of a businessman in Navagram area of ​​Pandaveshwar assembly. The most dramatic picture was captured in the raid on the house and warehouse of Jamudiya businessman Bansal family. In the investigation of illegal art and sand smuggling case, ED officials along with State Bank employees searched the house of Amit and Sumit Bansal. After recovering a huge amount of cash, a note counting machine is brought in to take out the money. At the end of the operation, ED officials are seen coming out carrying three big bags filled with documents and cash. However, no clear information has yet been found regarding what exact amount of money or what type of documents were in those bottles.According to preliminary estimates, the proceeds of illegal coal and sand smuggling were being spread across various states through a syndicate. As a result of this campaign, extensive canvassing was carried out across the entire West Bengal district and the search and document verification work continued till the evening. At present, no official statement has been given by ED regarding the real reason behind the operation and the scope of the investigation.
