Nirbhik Bangla, Asansol: Emphasizing women's safety and road security, helmets were distributed among female two-wheeler drivers at the Triveni More in Burnpur, Asansol. The event was attended by the state's Minister of Public Works and Urban Development, Agnimitra Paul. On this day, the minister herself put helmets on the heads of the female drivers and conveyed the message of safe travel. She said that in the present era, women are also moving forward on an equal footing with men. Along with being self-sufficient in the workplace, many women also have to commute to their workplaces daily by driving two-wheelers. Agnimitra Paul further said that it is very important not only to go to the workplace but also to return home safely. Therefore, it is necessary for every woman to use a helmet while driving a two-wheeler. Wearing a helmet is not just about following the law, but it is also an important safety measure to save lives. The event aimed to raise awareness among female drivers about the importance of wearing helmets and road safety.
