Due to non-receipt of money from Annapurna warehouse, a delegation of women from Jamuria's 7th ward went to the Boro office

Nirbhik Bangla, Jamuria: On Tuesday, several women from Ward No. 7 of Jamuria Municipality submitted a deputation at the No. 1 Boro Office, alleging that funds from the Annapurna Bhandar scheme had not been deposited into their bank accounts. The women claimed that despite applying both offline and online for the Annapurna Bhandar scheme, the money had yet to reach their bank accounts. They demanded a clear explanation for the delay. Executive Engineer Aparajit Ghosh of the No. 1 Boro Office received the deputation and informed the applicants that an inquiry team would investigate the matter. The actual cause would be determined based on the team's findings, and further steps would be taken accordingly. He also stated that all applications for the Annapurna Bhandar scheme submitted at the Boro Office had already been forwarded to the District Magistrate's office. After necessary verification, eligible beneficiaries would be finalized. However, the protesting women demanded that the investigation be expedited and their entitled funds be transferred to their bank accounts promptly.
