A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by Maa Tara Foundation in Churulia, where 54 units of blood were collected.

Nirbhik Bangla, Asansol: A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by Maa Tara Foundation in Churulia village under Jamuria police station on Sunday. The formal inauguration of the event was done by Buddhadeb Roy, in-charge of Churulia outpost. Eminent social worker Pinaki Roy, Timir Sadhu, and other members of Maa Tara Foundation were present. Many volunteers from the area donated blood at the camp. According to the organizers, a total of 54 units of blood were collected on the day. The collected blood was deposited at Asansol District Hospital, so that it can be used for the treatment of patients when needed. The organizers said that such social welfare programs will be organized regularly in the future for the purpose of human service.
