Housewife dies of electrocution, allegations of murder against in-laws; husband and father-in-law arrested

Nirbheek Bengali, Andal: There is a stir around the mysterious death of a bride in Kumardihi village of Pandaveshwar police station. According to preliminary information, the wife died due to electrocution, but the deceased's family claims it was a planned murder. Due to the incident, the police arrested the deceased's husband and father-in-law for questioning. As per the police sources, the name of the deceased is মৌদিতা রুদিস. In 2018, মৌদিমির, a resident of Dakshinkhand village of অন্দাল police station, got married to মৌজ রুইদাস, a resident of Pandaveshwar Kumardihi village. They have a nine month old child. It is learned that মৌমিতা got electrocuted while sorting clothes on the roof of the house on Wednesday morning. Although he was rescued in a critical condition, he ultimately died. But the angry family of the deceased considered this incident as a pure accident. According to their allegation, Dhumitaar was subjected to mental and physical torture in her in-laws' house for a long time. Allegations that he was regularly pressurized to bring money from his father's house. Relatives of the deceased, Vishal Rui Das, told that some time ago, the husband of the deceased, Manoj Rui Das, had demanded Rs 50,000 from his son-in-law. The family alleged that Rs 30,000 was deposited but the remaining amount was not able to be paid and hence his mother's contact with him was stopped. The family claims that there is a deep conspiracy behind Wednesday's incident. The deceased mother complained in a sobbing voice, "My daughter has been murdered. Every day she used to go to the terrace to wash clothes. But what happened that day that she died due to electrocution? There was no one at home at the time of the incident." On the other hand, deceased husband Manoj Rui Das has denied all the allegations. He claimed that his relationship with his wife was good. Their nine month old child is seriously ill and is undergoing treatment in Vellore. He admitted that he sought help from his wife due to financial problems, but claimed that his family had nothing to do with his wife's death. Police started investigating the incident. The body has been sent for mortuary to know the real cause of death. According to police sources, the husband and father-in-law are being arrested and interrogated. Once we have the investigation report, we will get a clear idea about the real cause of death.
