The state-level natural farming workshop was inaugurated by Minister Dr. Ajay Poddar at the college

Nirbheek Bengali, Kulti: To spread natural farming and encourage farmers towards environment-friendly farming methods, a state-wide workshop is being organized in Kulti assembly area on Sunday as an initiative of the West Bengal government. This workshop, organized in a private marriage hall adjacent to Kulti College, was inaugurated by the state's Public Health (PH) and Public Works (PWD) Minister Ajay Poddar. He inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. About 200 farmers participated in this workshop covering three boroughs of Kulti block. Present at the event were Assistant Agriculture Officer (Salanpur-Kulati) Rajshree Bandhyopa Dhyay, Durgapur Adm. (Admin) Milan Mandal and Durgapur Mahkumar ADA (SM) Debabrata Acharya were present. Officials of the Agriculture Department welcomed the Minister and other guests with a rosary. The main objective of the workshop was to spread natural farming methods among farmers, increase awareness about environment-friendly farming and further strengthen the agricultural system. Through the projector, farmers are explained in detail about various aspects of natural farming, its benefits and modern agricultural technology. Along with officials of the Agriculture Department, BJP Mandal President Manmohan Roy and সঞ্জু Ghosh and other eminent persons were also present at the event. For the farmers participating in the workshop, agricultural experts gave advice on how to improve production by reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides while maintaining harmony with nature. Speakers said that with the expansion of natural agriculture, it will be possible to ensure safe and healthy food production for the common people along with maintaining the balance of the environment. The workshop was successfully completed with the active participation and interest of the farmers. According to agricultural experts, such initiatives will play an important role in the development of sustainable agriculture system and increase the income of farmers in future.
