Initiative to solve drinking water problem in Kadamtala of Panchgachia, happiness among villagers

There was a drinking water crisis for a long time in Kadamtala area located in B-block of Panchgachia Gram Panchayat of Barabani assembly constituency. Local people say that a permanent solution to this problem had not been found for the last 15 years, due to which the villagers were facing a lot of problems. In this sequence, under the leadership of BJP's Barabani MLA Arijit Roy, BJP district leader Abhijit Roy visited the area. During this time, when bulldozers and machinery arrived, some people feared that some kind of demolition action was going to take place. However, Abhijeet Rai assured the villagers that no one's house will be demolished, rather work is being started to solve the water problem of the area. He said that his priority is to fulfill the promises made to the public. After this, necessary work was started to improve the drinking water system. An atmosphere of happiness was seen among the local people due to this initiative. The villagers expressed gratitude towards MLA Arijit Rai and BJP leader Abhijit Rai and said that this is an important step towards solving the long standing problem. A large number of women, local residents and BJP workers were present during the program.
