কুলটি ট্রাফিক গার্ডের উদ্যোগে হেলমেটবিহীন বাইক চালকদের বিরুদ্ধে কড়া অভিযান

Fearless Bengali, Asansol: To increase awareness among the common people regarding prevention of road accidents and following traffic laws, a special campaign was conducted by the Asansol-Durgāpur Police Commissionerate's Kulti Traffic Guard on Saturday. On this day, strict vigil is conducted against riding a bike without a helmet in front of the red traffic post. During the operation, several helmetless bike riders were arrested and fined as per law. Besides, drivers are made aware of the need to use helmets and road safety. Police has informed that it is mandatory for both the driver and the rider to use helmet while riding a bike. Using a helmet greatly reduces the risk of death during an accident. Therefore, everyone has been appealed to follow the traffic rules. According to Kulti Traffic Guard sources, such operations will continue in the coming days also. Necessary legal action will be taken against traffic law violators, it is reported. Police officers and traffic personnel of Kulti Traffic Guard were present in the operation.
