উচ্ছেদের প্রতিবাদে বার্ণপুর টাউন দপ্তরের সামনে বামফ্রন্টের বিক্ষোভ

Nirbhik Bengali, Asansol: Left Front joined the protest on Friday afternoon against the eviction notice in West Bengal's Burnpur area. Under the leadership of artist Chakraborty, left activists and supporters gathered in front of the Burnpur Town Service Department and carried out a protest program. Allegation, IISCO Steel Plant authorities have sent notices to eviction of roadside shopkeepers adjacent to Barpur Bus Stand. In protest against this there was a movement called Left Front. Artist Chakraborty claimed from the protest meeting that the offices of various political parties located on this land have already been demolished. He said that he is not opposing the modernization of ISC, but the issue of employment for the local youth will have to be ensured. According to him, many unemployed youth have started small businesses in the Burnpur market area in order to earn a living. If that shop is destroyed, the livelihood of many families will be in trouble. He further said that an application regarding this matter will be sent to the District Magistrate, Agnimitra Pal and Shubhendra Adhikari through fax, so that alternative arrangements or sufficient time can be given to the shopkeepers. He threatened to say that if the demands are not accepted, he will join the movement with his family by sitting in front of the bulldozer.
