Nirbheek Bengali, Shyam Das, Asansol: Keeping in view the upcoming Qurbani festival, a peace committee meeting was organized on Sunday under the initiative of Barabani police station in a private auditorium of Domhohani market. Administrative officials, public representatives and people from different communities were present in this meeting organized with the aim of completing the festival in a peaceful and peaceful environment. Present at the meeting were Dibyendu Mukherjee, Arijit Roy, Mihir Kumar De, Shiladitya Bhattacharya and Jayanta Dule. It is informed by the administration that on the occasion of sacrifice, all necessary arrangements will be taken to maintain peace and order in the area. In the meeting, people from Muslim and Hindu communities from different areas of Barabani block were present and gave messages of mutual respect and cooperation during the festival. The speakers urged everyone to follow the law and maintain social harmony. A clear message is also given from the administration side that any untoward incident or attempt to spread rumors will not be tolerated and the police will always be alert to ensure peaceful completion of the festival.
