Fearless Bengali, Durgapur: A teenager died tragically while taking bath in Damodhar river. Name of the deceased is অযুশ শরমা (১৫). He is said to be a resident of Cinema Hall Road in Cook Oven police station area of ​​Durgapur and a student of eighth grade of a private English medium school in Vidhannagar. According to local and police sources, Ayush went to take bath in Damodhar river with two friends on Monday morning. First he moves along the river bank and goes into deep water. Unable to swim, the girl loses control and begins to sink under the water. Friends try to save him but fail. Hearing the scream, local residents rushed to the spot and a rapid search began. After a long search, Ayush's dead body was recovered from the river with the help of the local people. Later, when he was taken to Durgapur Sub-Divisional Hospital, the doctors declared him dead. As news of the incident spread, family members and relatives gathered at the hospital. Parents broke down in tears over the death of their only son. This tragic incident has cast a pall of mourning over the entire area.
