Nirbheek Bengali, Laudoha: Government of India has launched an awareness initiative to bring the backward tribal and tribal communities back to their roots in the society. For that purpose, ‘Tribal Development Tribal Dignity Utsav’ has been started. This program will run from 19th May to 25th May. This awareness camp started auspiciously from the modern primary school of Navghanpur village of Faridpur block on Tuesday. Present at the event was Pandaveshwar's newly elected MLA Jitendra Kumar Tewari. At the beginning of the function, he offered prayers at the famous Rakshakali temple of the area. Present on this day's event were Durgapur Faridpur block's BDO Bedip Bairagi, Zila Parishad's electricity works director Sujit Mukherjee and others. While speaking at the event, MLA Jitendra Kumar Tewari said, this effort of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring back the backward tribal groups to their original sources is highly praiseworthy. He said, such awareness camps will be organized in six panchayat areas of Faridpur block of Durgapur in a phased manner. There, tribal and tribal community people will be informed about the facilities of various government projects and the block administration will provide necessary cooperation. He also urged everyone to forget political differences and work together for the development of the area. He said, just as administration officials are present on the government stage, representatives of opposition parties are also present. He further said that the event would have been more eventful had the area Panchayat Chief and Deputy Chiefs also been present.
