সিটি সেন্টারে বাস থেকে তোলা আদায়ের অভিযোগ ঘিরে উত্তেজনা, মারধরের অভিযোগে আটক ২

Fearless Bengali, Durgapur: There was extreme tension on Wednesday over the collection of fare from the bus at the City Center bus stand. Allegedly, when a bus on Baharampur-Chhattisgarh route reached the city centre, money was demanded from the bus staff. Bus worker Rahul Dhibar was beaten up and his clothes were torn off for refusing to pay, it is alleged. In protest against the incident, bus employees stopped the bus at DMC intersection and demonstrated. This results in temporary traffic congestion in the area. After receiving the news, police reached the spot and searched the city centre. According to police sources, two people have been arrested for their involvement in the incident. Police has started investigating the entire incident. Bus worker Rahul Dhibar complained, “The time keeper was there. They wanted money. They beat me when they did not give it. All of them are small people.” But no response was received from the accused or the TMC regarding this allegation.
