চল্লিশ শতাংশ ঠিকা শ্রমিক ছাঁটাইয়ের অভিযোগে ডিএসপি গেটে বিক্ষোভ

Durgapur Sett Durgapur (Durgapur State Publicity (Durgapur)) joined the protest alleging that there is a plan to lay off 40 per cent contract workers in Durgāpur Steel Plant (DSP). Members of BMS and Durgapur Contractors Association protest in front of the main gate of DSP on Monday morning. According to the labor union's complaint, through a recent notice they came to know that the factory authorities are planning to remove a large number of contract workers from work. The workers joined the movement in protest against this. The protesters claim that there are allegations of reduction in wages of long standing contract workers. According to the workers, wages will have to be paid directly into the bank accounts of the workers and not through contractors. Apart from this, demand is also raised to ensure all government facilities including ISI, PF. BMS leadership said that if necessary, the organization will name itself in a bigger movement in the interest of the workers. Workers in the industrial area have spread their minds due to the incident.
