It is learned that due to political intrigue, the sacred shrine at Bastin Bazar Durga Temple was closed for many years. After the victory of BJP, a decision was taken to start regular worship in the temple again. According to that decision, the sacred thread ceremony is formally started in the temple on Sunday. On this day, present in the temple and worship MLA Krishnandu Mukherjee. The district leadership of BJP was with him. Apart from worshiping in the temple, he also talks with the local residents. MLA Krishnandu Mukherjee said, this initiative has been taken in the interest of preserving religious and cultural heritage.
