Fearless Bengali, Sitarampur, On Tuesday morning, a massive fire broke out in a pickup van in Sitarampur's SN Roy Road under Niyamatpur police station of Kulati police station. Eyewitnesses claimed that the car was standing idle. When the stick comes in contact with the electrical wire while moving, it catches fire. Due to the presence of inflammable material, the fire took a terrible shape within a moment. Realizing the incident, the driver stopped the car, got down and tried to bring the fire under control. Local residents also quickly came forward and started putting out the fire. But the fire spread so quickly that the engine and tire of the pickup van collapsed. To finally control the situation, the locals pushed the car into a pit filled with water. Still the fire was seen burning for some time. Although there is no news of any loss of life in this incident, there is fear of extensive damage. An atmosphere of panic was created in the incident area for some time.
