Nirbheek Bengali, Niyamatpur: To strengthen security before the upcoming elections, Central Army conducted route march in Sitarampur and Niamatpur areas. On Saturday evening around 6 pm, police and central forces jointly participated in this route march. The special attraction of this route march was the mine protected and bullet proof vehicles, which are generally used in wartime situations or in highly sensitive areas. Such vehicles are commonly seen in use by security forces in high-risk areas like Kashmir. According to local sources, this special surveillance and display of force is being done to ensure free, fair and peaceful elections. The area around the route march is marked by security and safety awareness. It has been informed by the administration that such tours and route marches will be strengthened to maintain law and order before and during the elections.
