বরাচক রেল স্টেশন থেকে ১৪ কেজি রূপোর গয়না উদ্ধার, এক ব্যক্তি গ্রেফতার

Nirbheek Bengali, Asansol, West Bengal: Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested a suspicious person with about 14 kg of gold coins in a raid at Barachak Railway Station in Asansol. According to sources, the accused person was waiting for the train at the station with a bag. As the roaming RPF personnel became suspicious, he was arrested and searched. During the search, a huge amount of silver jewelery was recovered from the bag. When asked for valid documents, the accused could not give any satisfactory answer. It is reported that he tries to give misleading information even during interrogation. After that, he was taken to Barachak RPF post located in Kumarpur area and the interrogation started. Considering the importance of the incident, RPF authorities informed the Income Tax Department. On receiving the news, a team of the Income Tax Department reached the spot and started a detailed investigation of the recovered coins. At present RPF and Income Tax Department are jointly conducting the investigation. The investigators are trying to find out from where such a huge amount of gold was brought, where it was being taken and whether there is any big conspiracy or international network behind it.
