নিউ ঘুষিক কোলিয়ারীতে তীব্র জলসংকট, পাম্প খারাপ থাকায় বিক্ষোভ এলাকাবাসীর

Nirbheek Bengali, Asansol, Saturday: New Ghushik Colliery area is suffering from acute water crisis. The collier's water pump broke down and the residents of the area suffered extreme hardships due to disruption in water supply for the last three days. In protest against this situation, local Trinamool leaders and councilor Meena Kumari Hasda along with others joined the protest in front of the colliery agent department. Mr. Badal said, “Water supply to the colliery has been stopped for the last three days due to pump failure. I was forced to protest in front of the agent department.” He further said that the water being supplied by Asansol Municipality is much less than the requirement. On the other hand, Councilor Meena Kumari Hasda said, "People's suffering has reached its peak due to lack of water in the scorching heat. The mining authority has been informed that the pump will have to be repaired within three days and normal water supply will be resumed." Meanwhile, assurance has been given by the colliery management that normal water service will be resumed after repairing the pump soon.
