The incident occurred while going to Municipality Road via Chittaran Road. According to local sources, on the way to evacuate, the lorry lost control while passing a vehicle coming from the other side and hit a cement electricity pole on the roadside. The electric pole breaks due to the impact. After receiving the news, police and electricity department personnel immediately reached the spot. Along with bringing the situation under control, the work of repairing the damaged pole begins. Due to this incident, electricity service in the area remained closed for some time, resulting in problems for the local residents. Efforts are underway to normalize the situation under the supervision of the Electricity Department.
