Asansol: The administration inspected a gas agency office located on SB Road, Asansol on Sunday. This inspection was carried out in joint initiative of Asansol-Durgapur Police Commissionerate and local administration. The main objective of the administration was to ensure that the gas customers do not face any inconvenience and that no conflict or disorganization is created within the agency. For this purpose, the officials visited the agency office and talked to the agency operators and inquired about the gas supply and service system. During the inspection, security arrangements of the agency were also seen in place. Also, on behalf of the police administration, the general public is requested not to listen to the various rumors spread regarding gas supply in recent times. During this joint inspection, officials of Asansol-Durgapur Police Commissionerate along with Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Asansol and other administrative officials were present. It has been informed by the administration that such monitoring will be conducted in future to keep the gas supply normal.
