Nirbheek Bengali, Vandhaman: On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, an example of humanitarian initiative was set by distributing Iftar items in various areas of East Vandaman district. Every year, a program has been started by Trinamool Congress on behalf of Trinamool Congress to hand over Iftar items to the Imams and Muhammeds of all the mosques under the block. The leadership of the organization has given a message to the fasting people to stay by their side during the month of Ramadan. On the other hand, under the initiative of Vandaman's famous voluntary organization Vandaman Sadar Nutrition Welfare Society, about one thousand kg of food items are distributed. A total of 150 people were handed over the materials for Iftar for 21 days in the Bhatar station area and Murātīpur market area. Each packet contained 2 kg of wheat, 1 kg of semolina, 1 kg of sugar, 1 kg of sugar, 500 gm of chickpea, ১50 g of ada, ১50 g of dates, ১ liter of oil and 20 packets of ORS. Prominent philanthropists Sanai Foujadar, Ashok Hajra and Aamir Sheikh and others were present. Rozadar Jyothsana Bibi, Halim Shaikh and Liaqat Hussain Mallik said that with the food items received, their family would be able to eat without interruption for one month. The organization's editor, Pralya Majumdar, said that the main goal of the organization is to ensure a happy iftar for the fasting people on every day of Ramzan.
