Asansol: Asansol Sports Lavaras Association is active in promoting rural sports and culture. On behalf of the organization, the biweekly women's football competition is starting from next 28th on the grounds of Girmint Colliery. Editor of the organization, Arijit Mukherjee said, in the present era, women are playing a leading role in various fields. It was from that thought that this big event was organized with the girls of rural areas. A total of 18 teams will take part in this competition, which will run from 28th date till next 2nd date. Along with sports, cultural programs have also been organized. On the 1st date, Sāḷoṭāli ​​tribal dance performance will be organized and on the 2nd date, Baul music and Holi Milān festival will be organized. It has been informed by the organizers that the prizes will be distributed at the end of the competition in the presence of prominent people from the nearby villages. The presence of sports lovers will create a festive atmosphere on the field, say optimistic entrepreneurs.
