At the time of the incident, a fire was seen burning in the house, which spread panic in the area. After receiving the news, Kulatti police station and a fire engine reached the spot and brought the fire under control. According to police sources, deceased Raja Mukherjee was working as a gunman in a private factory. According to preliminary investigation, this incident happened due to family unrest. Two dead bodies were recovered and sent to Asansol District Hospital for postmortem. Police started investigating the incident. A shadow of mourning has descended on the area.
