Fearless Bengali, Durgāpur: The newly constructed cremation ground of Birbhanpur was auspiciously inaugurated by Anindita Mukhopa Ghya, Chief Administrator of Durgāpur Municipal Corporation. A modern waiting room has been constructed for the convenience of cremation visitors. Apart from this, a new entrance has been made to enter the crematorium and improved lighting arrangements have been made in the entire courtyard. As a result, the service will be better and more self-friendly, claims the administration. Note that approximately Rs 30 lakh has been spent on this developmental work. Commissioner Abul Kalam Azad Islam, Deputy Chairman Dharmendra Yadav and other eminent persons were present at the inaugural ceremony.
